Overview
Infant Jesus Convent I.S.C (+2) School Murukkumpuzha, Trivandrum is established and administered by the sisters i.e. Congregation of the Carmelites Religious (CCR).It’s Generalate is in All Saints College Campus TVM.Infant Jesus Convent ISC School began functioning on 1st June 1993. It is an unaided Institution recognized by the ICSE and ISC Board Delhi. We have classes from L K G to XII .Infant Jesus Convent ISC School strives to provide the best of modern Education and a more holistic Educational experience to the young minds .
The Congregation was founded by Mother Veronica (nee Sophie Leeves) on 16 July I868 in France .She came to India and in I880.The Holy Angels Convent HSS was started (the first English medium School in Kerala for girls) in Trivandrum Kerala. From here the Congregation has spread to most of the states of India and abroad. Through Education and other works of Mercy we seek to promote the Kingdom values of Justice, Fellowship and Freedom, there by bringing harmony in society, especially those in need.
It is situated near Kadinamkulam lake surrounded by mango and Jack fruit grove. Its away from the crowded city . Its ambience teamed with a positive outlook unleashes a dynamic and dazzling climate to full fill their creative urges and provide a plat form to show case their talents. We do enjoy the serene atmosphere at the school Campus.
Vision
Mother Veronica (nee Sophie Leeves) an Anglican by birth came to India in order to start English Education for girls she was a great visionary and she braved many hardships to full fill her dreams. We have three provinces namely Western ,Central and Southern.Infant Jesus Convent School belongs to the Southern province.
